Samba Passion is New Zealand's premier Samba dance entertainment team with a rich history of captivating audiences at prestigious events.

We are the only elite group of dancers who perform all over New Zealand and at the Rio Carnaval in Brazil. We are also the only entertaiment team in New Zealand with two crowned Australasian Samba Queens; Gabriela Guimaraes (2017) and Ana Paula Bojovic (2023).

Our production ensemble includes Brazilian dancers, drummers, and Capoeira performers, providing a full carnaval experience. Samba Passion is lead by the Artistic Director Gabriela Guimaraes. Originally from Brazil, Gabi has been dancing since a young age and studied many forms of dance which makes her style unique and authentic.

She has been crowned as the Australasian Samba Queen, Copacabana Beach Samba Musa and Imperio Da Tijuca Musa. Gabi is also consistently invited and brought to dance competitions around the world as a guest judge.
